MODULIGHT

In Digital Fabrication we were asked to design a light that was both modular and flat-packable.  Using Rhino 3D modeling and a laser cutter, I designed the Modulight.  Modular cones can be added or subtracted to create desired size and tessellated shape.

The light was featured on the home page of the CU Environmental Design Website

MODULAR WALL SYSTEM

The Boolean Compression Module can connect to itself in a number of orientations to create complex wall systems.  The modular wall unit can be modified and assembled to create storage, different light qualities, and integrated furniture.  

STEEL TEA HOUSE SHADE STRUCTURE

Using Grasshopper Plug-in in Rhino, I created a shade structure for the Dushanbe Tea House in Boulder, Colorado.  The stacked steel rings are welded together to create a porous, floating structure.
